Panoramic Landscape Photography - Lake Eola and Downtown Orlando (Including Church Street) - 6.30pm - 2 hours
Panoramas visually enhance many types of photography, such as travel and architecture images. The way they allow the viewer's eye to sweep across the landscape, gives them a more inclusive view than people normally see in the average rectangular photograph. It's important to plan out your picture before you shoot it. Where is your panorama going to start and where is it going to end? It's important to structure your panoramas carefully, paying close attention to the composition of the elements.

We have a different photo theme bimontly and the two hour sessions take place in different outdoor locations around Orlando. It's a great opportunity to try something new with the guidance of a professional photographer, and come away with some new shots for your portfolio or album.

Who can attend? Open to all skill levels, from beginners to keen amateurs. The photography instructor is there to help you with camera settings and provide any advice you need.

What to bring? We recommend bringing a camera that has full manual mode or semi-manual modes (Aperture or Shutter Priority). Compact cameras and smartphones also welcome!

Whatís involved? Each session starts with an introduction to the theme, and the photography instructor will chat about the camera settings and techniques to use. Youíll then have time to take lots of photos, with the instructor present to answer any questions. Youíll receive feedback and have a chance to chat with everyone to share tips and ideas. Weíre a social bunch!

After group editing session. After each group the instructor runs an optional 1.5 hour critique, select, and edit session to help you improve your important post-shoot skills. While much editing can be done on modern cameras, it's best to bring a tablet or laptop with editing software to get the most out of this session. Select this option when booking to attend.

The meeting point and full details for the day are sent in the booking confirmation email to the email address you provide at time of booking.

We also occasionally hold more formal beginners classes which last 3 hours and are limited to 6 people. These classes are perfect for complete beginners who want to start using manual mode and those who want to brush up on the basics. See the dates below.

Silhouette Photography - Disney Springs - 6pm - 2 hours
Silhouette photography is a wonderful way to convey drama, mystery, emotion and mood in a picture. A silhouette is defined as a view of an object or a scene consisting of the outline and a featureless interior, with the silhouetted object usually being black. Silhouette photos instantly grab your attention because of the contrast between dark and light.

Loved the beginner's photography with Sharan. I learned a lot and I am looking forward to many more classes with him as the instructor. Very informative and he had a lot of patience with the class as he went around answering all of our questions.

Learned so much. Sharan did a great job of presenting the information and then worked with each individual. I am truly a novice and I felt comfortable asking questions. This was a good beginning for me.

Going into this as a new member, frankly I did not know what to expect. I was very pleasantly surprised. The instructor had a high level of expertise and yet was very good at explaining basic things to those of us who needed it. I enjoyed it so much I want to do more things with this group in the future. He was a fine and Brilliant young man who has a passion for photography. He was very tactful and did not make anyone feel belittled for asking questions that maybe some would have scoffed at. He was very understanding and compassionate in that way.
